101 Moments of Trust
5My Thoughts About The Book: I have been a huge fan of Marion Bond West for thirty years. She is an amazingly honest writer and her books and articles have always touched deep into my heart. This Spirit Lifter is no different. Bond does an exceptional job of providing short devotionals that provide scriptures, stories, and a prayer with each entry. I loved them all! Somebody Really Special could have been written about my life. The scripture from Isaiah 60:20 was perfectly chosen for this story. The story of Gene Acuff (pen-al then) and the Milk Duds made me laugh. The scripture from 2 John 1:12 was one I have now made my own. It applies to everyone. I think my favorite was called Life Lessons with text from Matthew 7:11. It appears that West and I grew up in a similar era. This one brought memories flooding back to me of a time long ago when I too was a young, impressionable child of six. This is a must read and a must have!

101 Moments of Prayer
4My Thoughts On The Book: Obstacles Strengthen Faith is one of my favorite spiritual pieces in the book. It begins with four books of the Bible that go along with the story of our traveling companion, Moses. A story of Moses follows and a prayer is at the end of the reading. Expect the Best was my favorite non-spiritual piece. The scripture for the reading is from Porverbs 23:18 and says, “Thine expectations shall not be cut off.ollows is about a cross-country plane trip and a seven-year-old. The prayer that follows this story is about looking for the good in others and how looking for it helps the good to show. I loved the whole book and was delighted with the intertwining between Bible stories and real-life stories. This is a must read and a must have! It would make a wonderful gift.

Spirit Lifters
5There is such great power in prayer yet how many of us really have tapped into all that is available to us? I love the stories that are woven within these devotions. You can hear the Lord in so many of these; as we walk with Moses and are reminded of the journey he was sent into and the training he received along the way. Or how about the reminder of the importance of others in the story of Elisha?
The stories, deeply personal and moving in so many cases, share the author’s journey in life and faith. Each one spaks to a certain area of life, a struggle, a challenge or a moment that we can use to grow our faith and our trust in Him. My favorites? Make a U Turn and Sone-Yah are very special; two that really spoke to me of the value of time with Him. Excellent reminders of the importance of

I loved these books! It’s so nice to have refreshing devotionals that directly apply to what I deal with in my life, rather than generic issues. Having someone who can relate to what I feel when I try to pray or simply trust God is a huge step in going the right direction!

Trust and Prayer
3101 moments of trust I would recommend this e-book to anyone who just Loves God and wants to learn to trust HIM more!!!
Gods Peace to you Marion and may HE bless you all the days of your life. In Jesus Name Amen.
101 moments of prayer
For each day, you read a page or two, that’s what I liked about these types of devotionals; they are not too long yet enough for you to ponder on what you have read for that day. There is a Scripture you read for each day and a story that helps you to see it in a different perspective. And a short prayer to help you cling to Yahweh and to keep His Word in your heart.

Guideposts Spirit Lifter ebooks
4The Guidepost Spirit Lifter ebooks — 101 Moments of Prayer was sent to me for reading on my kindle app.
This ebook is a gentle read, that can be read in a few sittings, or a little each day. In this season of life, where there are some very dark and heavy goings on, the gentle message reminding one to listen to God is very welcome.
” The walk of faith is not for those who need quick results; it is for those for whom, for now, the journey in God’s company is enough. Measure my steps, Lord … One step at a time is fine with me.”
Elizabeth Sherrill. 101 Moments of Prayer (Kindle Locations 60-62). Guideposts.
Resting simply in the company of God is a thought that has been making it’s way in my mind, and I appreciate being reminded to do so once again.

101 Moments of Prayer and 101 Moments of Trust
4.5Our family loved both of these Ebooks. They were little nuggets of inspiration for us on a daily basis. They were not to long for my special needs son to sit and listen to and he got a lot out of them and even asked about it when I forgot to read them on Christmas morning! For $2.99 each they are well worth the money.

Couldn\'t Stop Reading
5This book was like eating peanuts – once I started reading one devotion, I couldn’t stop. I really enjoyed the little stories of encouragement and they were very uplifting. I liked how each one had a corresponding Scripture and focused on keeping in the will of God and knowing Him better through His Word

Book Review: Guidepost\'s Spirit Lifters
4Each devotion starts off with a “traveling companion” — someone from Scripture who exemplified the point being made for that day. I haven’t been through the entire book, but this does appear to move chronologically through the Bible, or at least it starts that way.

A Powerful Book for the New Year: 101 Moments of Trust, by Marion Bond West
5I laughed out loud reading Marion’s accounts of how she handled mothering rowdy toddlers, yet I also gleaned from her years of parenting wisdom. If you are a cat or dog lover (as I am), you’ll be especially blessed by Marion’s many stories of her family pets, and how God loves us through the animals we encounter and bring into our world. Through each of her personal experiences, she takes a step closer to God, and I love reading about her struggles as well as her victories. This is a book that can be easily downloaded into an e-reader, so you can take the author’s voice of wisdom everywhere you go. Enjoy!

5101 Moments of Prayer by Elizabeth Sherrill contains what Elizabeth calls her little epiphanies from her everyday life that God used to spur on little stories of spiritual insight.
I found her stories to be encouraging and uplifting. Her insights are definitely a God thing because she was willing and open to listen to the still small voice regarding what she initially considered just everyday occurrences. Our everyday occurrences are always a moment for God to speak to us if we are listening.
101 Moments of Trust by Marion Bond West is a compilation of Marion’s favorite devotionals over the years she has written for Guideposts.
Marion’s selections are God moments in her life that touched my heart, as I could relate to many of her articles. She is adamant about learning the truth of
