An “Absolutely Stunning” Novel (and a chance to win)!

December 27th, 2012

The blog tour for The Breath of Dawn by Kristen Heitzmann ended a few weeks ago. Be sure to stop by the tour post and read what the reviewers thought of this “fast-paced-couldn’t-put-it-down” book.

If you missed the Facebook party on 11/27, you can get caught up here. Kristen shared the story behind the book and gave us a sneak peek at her next novel!

Congratulations to all our winners from the Facebook party, as well as Paula Dinsmore from Port Hadlock, Washington, who won a Kindle Paperwhite!

Be sure to keep up with Kristen Heitzmann on her website for news on her upcoming projects!

And if you wanted to purchase The Breath of Dawn (or any of her other books), you can do so here.

Have you shopped on eBay? Leave a comment here telling us your favorite eBay (or online) purchase, and we’ll choose a winner on January 2 to receive a copy of The Breath of Dawn!

I have not purchased anything from ebay in 5 years. That was specialized embroidery thread.
My favorite online purchase was the Kindle I got for Christmas. (I ordered, hubby wrapped.)

  • My favorite ebay purchase has been the purple case I bought for my Kindle. It protects it and the best part is… it’s purple!

First, I love Kristen’s books and would really LIKE to read The Breath Of Dawn!
I have shopped on ebay many times. My favorite purchase was probably my 1950’s style blue sailor dress that I wear for special events as a Museum volunteer. My most interesting purchase was a box of Barbies and furniture, the Barbies included a pregnant doll with a baby and a grey haired Ken and Barbie (they were supposed to be grandparents). Ebay is a real treasure trove of stuff you really want but probably don’t need.

  • The only thing I’ve purchased on ebay is a Kindle Fire cover (and then I ended up returning the KF because it wouldn’t work right). I ended up winning a Kindle Touch a few months later and use the cover for that now.

I don’t really have a favorite unless CD’s count. I’m about to purchase Bryan Duncan’s newest, as yet unreleased, album Celebrations. More info @ http://givingnsharing.blogspot.com/2012/12/bryan-duncans-back-and-you-can-help-get.html

    Thanks! =D

My favorite online purchase has to be the baby quilt that I purchased to make for my grand daughter. It was called “Children are a gift from the Heavens”. It took me 9 months to cross stitch it and I added her name and birthdate to it. My son and future daughter-in-law have the quilt hanging behind my grand daughter’s crib so everyone can see it.

I have had real good luck with e-bay shopping. I’ve bought several things…and the latest was tanning lotion…..so much cheaper by ordering it on e-bay versus buying at the local shopping mall. I just love ordering things from e-bay…so quick and no hassle.

I shop on eBay for books all the time. In fact, I just picked up Anne Mateer’s “Wings of a Dream” for $3 and I’m loving it so far. As for bigger purchases, I bought a Wii console bundled with games and accessories, and a Samsung Galaxy Player (mp3 player), affectionately known by my sister and me as “The Thingy”. Another site I love is goodwillbooks.com. You can find lots of great books on there for as low as 1 cent plus affordable combined shipping.

I’ve not used eBay…at least, not recently. BUT I do love shopping online! Amazon is my favorite place, and my favorite purchase? Always books. 🙂 Favorite book from Amazon at the moment? Either “Bourne and Tributary” by Lisa Bergren, “The Hobbit Illustrated Making-Of Guide” (not sure of the exact title), or possibly the free Kindle book I just got…”Short-Straw Bride” by Karen Witemeyer.

  • I bought some TV seasons off there once that were brand new.

  • I LOVE online shopping. My favorite purchases have been items on etsy (unique and often one of a kind items) and amazon. Just bought a laminator for $16! Lori

I love Christmas shopping on line…ordering sweaters and electronics really saves time…not really a big ebay shopper..usually it’s amazon.

My favorite purchase on e-bay was my pink elephant purse by Vera Bradley. Love it!
