Join the Flock!

January 14th, 2015

Intersted in joining our flock and becoming a Litfuse nest blogger? Sign up here and see if you are qualified to join. Not sure what being a blogger involves? Keep reading to learn more.

Our book-review program is simple. When we have a new book up for review, you’ll receive an email announcement about the book, author, and current promotion. Feel free to sign up for those book tours that interest you and ignore those that don’t. Once you’ve signed up, you’ll receive a second email closer to the tour date with all the blog tour “goodies” (book info, author info, promotional materials, and schedule) and a chance to interview the author and/or give away a copy of the promoted book. Each tour comes with a schedule, a fun contest, and heaps of exposure.

All we ask is that you post a review or interview and a snippet on the tour’s landing page on your scheduled date, as well as any contest or promotional information. That’s it. Scroll below for some helpful information about posting reviews and more.

Once you have become a verified Litfuse Nest Blogger and have received your first book for review, you may leave a review or a “snippet” by going to the blog tour page for that book  (a link will be sent for each tour) and then clicking on “Leave a review”, which will take you to the Book post. You will enter your blog name and post permalink (not your blog’s generic url), as well as a 100 word snippet (or short review). You should also leave your outside review link from Amazon, B&N, CBD, or Goodreads at the end of your review comment. Finally, you may also give the book a star rating.

A snippet is a short excerpt from the review you posted on your blog. When posting your snippet from your blog, we ask that you post 1–3 sentences from your review on what you thought of the book, not merely a synopsis.
