We are thrilled to tell you about these great resources from Kregel Publications and Sandy's minsitry, Beautiful Womanhood. To celebrate Sandy is hosting a fabulous Kindle Touch giveaway (2/15 - 3/7) and an encouraging Facebook party on 3/8. All the details below.
There was a time when Sandy Ralya's marriage was in trouble. While she eventually sought guidance from godly mentors and Christian counselors, she didn't forget the fear and isolation she experienced and knew other women were feeling the same. So in 2003 Sandy started Beautiful Womanhood, a marriage mentoring ministry, to help other women know they are not alone in their struggles. Being a wife has always been a difficult role to understand. It's not a one-size-fits all formula and with that in mind, Sandy has written The Beautiful Wife o that all women can benefit from her "messy" story and her insights into the value of marriage mentorship.
"...An incredible handbook that every woman needs. I believe this book will be life-changing for many, many women and their marriages." -Best-selling author Shaunti Feldhahn
"Sandy Ralya candidly shares her experiences, others' personal stories, and God's wisdom to mentor women for great marriages." -Florence Littauer, speaker and best-selling author of Personality Plus
"Simply and honestly, Sandy speaks to the real issues that wives deal with and gives practical guidance on how to become 'beautiful' in Christ." -Dan Seaborn, author and founder of Winning at Home

Michele at My Life & Kids Library I am so glad this set included a Prayer Journal....very important! Every chapter in the book coincides with the prayer journal. It helps to really get involved with your reading. Also helps to get us in the Word of God and more active in our prayer life concerning our marriage.
Sarah at Growing for Christ I strive to be a godly wife, one that is beautiful to both God and my husband – most often I fail but there are small successes as well. If like me, you need a little help then you must check out Sandy Ralya’s Beautiful Wife which will give you a lot of help on your way to becoming a beautiful wife – you still may not be perfect but you’ll have something which will help you on your way and to pick you up when those days come that you don’t feel like being a beautiful wife.
Becky at In The Pages I was pleasantly surprised at this book. The Beautiful Wife by Sandy Ralya is a very powerful book - I was shocked over and over when I read parts that I felt were aimed right at me. I have been inspired and encouraged by this book.

Abi at 4 the LOVE of BOOKS I so enjoyed reading the Beautiful Wife. What a way to study with other wives that have the same issues as you.
Melissa at Hidden Valley Simplicity Sandy Rayla writes with personableness and chattiness, as if she was sitting down over a cup of coffee with her reader and sharing her heart. Part of her heartbeat is mentoring and that comes through as the author. She writes as a mentor who loves those she montors. That struck a chord with me as a fellow mentor.
Janelle at Cole Clan Adventures I think Sandy has written a program with will undoubtedly draw many of us into a deeper relationship with God and our husbands.

Tammi at Our Homeschooling Pilgrimage No matter how long you have been married, or how good your marriage is there is always room for improvement. So if you like Bible studies this might be one you would like to have on your coffee table, or night stand.

Heather at Servant, Wife, Mother I can’t stress how much I enjoyed the mentors guide and am looking forward to putting the ideas within into action!
Christie at Blessed Life Ministries I highly recommend this book on both a personal study and group study level. In her book, The Beautiful Wife, Sandy Rayla brings to the forefront the importance of inner beauty in our marriages. After reading this book I realized how important my inner beauty is and how that beauty glorifies the Lord in my marriage.
Megan at Homeschoolin Mama I can not tell you how blessed I feel after reviewing this Bible Study. I love the way Sandy writes, as if she knows me and is speaking right to me.

Mollie at The Gandys Home Base I am always a fan of a biblically based marriage resource, but to come across one that works on you, the wife, is even better. I was challenged weekly to pray for my spouse, talk about things with my spouse on how I could be a better wife to him, and of course draw nearer to the Lord. Sandy really is a beautiful writer, and I could really relate to her since she had gone through so many troubles I have. I was really amazed with all the different topics that she had me work through as a wife, and was doubly amazed at her honest of her own flaws.
2/22
Gretta at The Johns Family I absolutely loved this book as it covered all the basics necessary to build and grow my marriage.
Jill at I am believing God Ralya helps you understand your role in marriage, guides you by showing you how to focus on the right priorities and also shows you the importance of taking care of yourself.
Jennifer at A Peace of Mind This book is great; with the study guide and journal handy I say this will really help you to focus.

Isabelle at Canadian ladybug Reviews This book will bring you on a journey to become the wife God intended you to be.
Charla at For What It's Worth Ralya did a very good job of writing about the issues that a woman faces as a wife, and at the same time offered practical guidelines and steps to begin working through these issues, either with or without her husband's involvement.
Karen's Korner It is one of those books that are a must in your library. This book is very helpful in finding your way to becoming the kind of wife you should be....a beautiful one. I cannot wait to lead a bible study with our women's group. They will love this as much as I do.

Annette at In Wonder http://continuedwonder.blogspot.com Sandy Ralya challenges women to create an attitude of beauty in the home. to promote peace (instead of quarreling) contentment (instead of complaining) to be slow to anger.
Joan at Book Reviews from an Avid Reader I am impressed with this material. If you feel God's call on your life to mentor wives, this will be an excellent resource for you.
Laura at Day by Day in Our World This is not a book to give you some suggestions to bring a spark back to your marriage. I see it as more about addressing your actions and attitudes that affect your vocation as a wife. And, at times taking a hard look in the mirror can be both enlightening and painful. But, the rewards can be great.
Coranne at Short and Sweet The Beautiful Wife is engaging and a great read whether you are part of a small group or reading alone.

Cara at the Law, Books & Life If you feel called to work with married women and a burden to help them thrive in marriage, then this set of books could be a wonderful place to start.
Donna at Books and Such If you want help with how to be balanced and happy in your marriage with God's help in today's world, this book is a great choice for you.
Laura Lighthouse Academy I highly recommend this book.

Kat at Reviews From The Heart The Beautiful Wife is a book for the gloriously messy woman who has serious and not-so-serious questions about her role as a wife. It's a book for the woman who longs to develop deep relationships with real women who don't gloss over the dirty realities of life. It's book for the woman who wants to experience more fulfillment, passion, and meaning in her marriage.
Tammy at blog...blog...blog GREAT marriage post with review.
Pam at Southern Gal Loves to Read Sandy directs her readers to go deep and get down to the nitty-gritty hard work of making marriage work, leading women to the inner beauty that really matters.

Kathleen at Jersey Girl Book Reviews
Amy at Cajun Joie de Vivre While the title may lead you to believe it is talking about the “doing” in marriage, what it actually addresses is the inner heart of marriage. Sandy helps you get to the bottom of thought processes and helps you to overcome hindrances that prevent us from thriving in our union.
Melissa at The High Altitude Tea Duchess I found Sandy's book to be encouraging and helpful without being preachy or condescending. Her writing is refreshing, personal and frank.
Suzannesaphone The best feature of this book, in my opinion, is that it is actually addressed specifically to wives.
2/29
Jill at Book, Books Everywhere One thing that really resonated with me was allowing yourself as a wife and mother to have your own time for reflection and for taking care of yourself spiritually, physically and emotionally.
Leila at All meant to shine I loved this book!
Pam at Southern Gal Loves to Read The Beautiful Wife can easily be used as a tool for individual reading, and it is well-designed for small group study.
Kalyn at The Feminine Intellect I, for one, love the journal idea! I believe journaling your thoughts, prayers, and difficulties, not only releases tension, it also encourages you to grow as an individual.
3/1
Lori at Morning Glories and Moonflowers The Beautiful Wife is the instruction manual every woman needs! Written by Sandy Ralya, it's a "book for the gloriously messy woman who has serious and not-so-serious questions about her role as a wife".
Diane at That's What I'm Here For This book is obviously streamlined towards wives but any woman can gain valuable insight from this guide. The author covers twelve areas that we can look at more closely and gain new perspective in.
Judy at Lost and Found This book gave me an opportunity to reflect and recharge so that I was able to view my marriage (and my 'marriage' relationship with the Lord) in a whole new light. The writing in this book coupled with the perfect scriptures really drew me in and made a solid impact on several different levels.
Amber at Snidbits Though I'm not married yet I wanted to read this book for when I do make that commitment with the right guy. This book is full of good advice for women as they strive to be a godly wife.
3/2
Nathania at Sophie and Momma This book is very well written and very easy to read. But do not get me wrong, very easy to read and understandable--but I found myself spending days just reading the same chapters and meditating on portions of the book. Sandy, only by God, has put together a really good book, that I can really glean a lot of wisdom from and desire to reread over and over again.
Shari at The Knit Wit by Shair This is a great book for helping us to think about different ways of looking at our relationships. As women we tend to be so busy, and we think we can handle it all, however sometimes our men need to feel like we need them. We don't have to do it all!
Wendy at Minding Spot The Beautiful wife is a guide any married woman should own!
Michelle at Our Little Corner of the World Over the last few years, I've read a lot of books on the subjects of improving your marriage, becoming a better wife, understanding your husband better, and so on. This book is a step above the rest.
3/3
Hayley at Hanging Off The Wire I think this is an amazing teaching book that will help every marriage, even you think you don't need it!
Jamie at Little Blurbs This book is full of encouraging, helpful information aimed at really helping wives to look at their hearts and inspire them to become the wife God calls them to be.
Heather at Proud Book Nerd The Beautiful Wife uses inspiring stories along with biblical principles to guide and encourage any wife looking for God’s best in her marriage.
3/5
Julie at My Kansas City Mommy The Beautiful Wife is a must-read for any Christian wife.
Kendra at Happily Managing a Household of Boys I give high recommendations for a Beautiful Wife!
Dusty at To the Moon and Back It isn't just generic information spit out at you like a thousand other "Christian living" books on the shelf. It has personal stories from the author that help you relate and know that you aren't the only one with a problem. It asks you to dig deep within yourself and more importantly, it teaches you how to stop relying on yourself for the answers, but to turn to God with everything because He is the only one with the right solutions.
Pam at Southern Gal Loves to Read In The Beautiful Wife, Sandy Ralya shares some very practical principles, based in scripture, on how to reach that goal. The lessons have little, if anything, to do with outward beauty so coveted by many. Sandy directs her readers to go deep and get down to the nitty-gritty hard work of making marriage work, leading women to the inner beauty that really matters.
3/6
Tammy at Bluerose's Heart This is one of my favorite books on marriage.
Kelli at The Zen of Motherhood The book is well-written, well-organized, and full of solid, commonsense advice; I even put a few of Ralya's tips into practice immediately!
Pamela at I Read. Do You? Author Sandy Ralya guides wives through many of those topics that are easier to ignore. With loving honesty and a gentle voice, Sandy Ralya encourages wives to look at themselves within the bigger picture of their marriage. By starting with the heart of one wife, this Bible study might lead to changes in two hearts within one marriage.
Nancy Amusing Reviews
Michele at My Blessings From Above The Beautiful Wife is more than just another Christian book about marriage. Sandy uses examples and struggles in her own marriage to help other women work through the difficulties and struggles many of us face in our relationships with our husbands. How to pray for our spouses.
3/7
Margaret at The World As I See It I haven’t read the whole book but the parts that I have I wish I would have gotten this book in the beginning because I think that this book could have maybe saved my marriage.
Megan at Inspired by Fiction The Beautiful Wife is an easy-to-read book with some good ideas that any woman can use to improve her marriage. I also feel that the Mentor's guide and Prayer Journal are useful tools. The Mentor's Guide includes tips for helping other married women--walking together through the journey! And I love the Prayer Journal! It follows the book, chapter by chapter and gives space and topics to pray and journal about, as well as other practical tips to apply.
Wanda at The Watered Soul Obviously the intended audience is for married women particularly women of faith. However, I think the book is a helpful resource to the single woman who is hoping to be married some day.
Suzanne at Cows and Lasers and Everything in Between Sandy Ralya did a wonderful job of pointing out things that I, as a wife, had never thought of before in regards to my role as a wife. I'll be the first to admit that I get tired of hearing Christian authors and speakers tell us to submit to our husbands and while Sandy did touch on this she talked about it in a way that didn't leave me feeling like being submissive is being weak. There were several points in the book where I felt as though she was talking directly to me. Each chapter covers a different facet of life as a wife and gives tips on how to revamp that area of your marriage in order to make you the most beautiful wife you can be.
Ariel at The Librarian's Bookshelf The prayer journal was a great asset. It simply helps the reader dig deeper into the week's reading, giving verses that apply to the topic and steps to try throughout the week. The mentor's guide gave lesson overviews for each week, for anyone that wants to leader a Beautiful Womanhood bible study. It would definitely help calm a nervous leader!
Lisa at Life Full of Laughter I really think this book is awesome & would be helpful for every wife, no matter what stage of marriage you are in or how strong or weak your marriage is. The great thing is that the author, Sandy Ralya, is the founder and director of a marriage mentoring ministry named “Beautiful Womanhood“. I highly recommend looking into this wonderful opportunity.
Jennifer at Crazy-for-Books The book is very conversational in tone and quite easy to read. It feels like you are having coffee with a friend.
Crystal at My Reading Room I think Ms. Ralya has done a wonderful job putting these three books together to work together as either an individual study (the main book and the prayer journal) or as a group study where you can include the mentor's guide as well. It is a wonderful study to really get women to think about their roles and things they could do in their marriage to bless it in small ways.

Mel's World I have already been telling women at my church, as well as my lead Pastor, about this book and can't wait to see what happens when we all grab hold of the fact that we too can be " The Beautiful Wife ~ Focused on Christ, Fulfilled in Marriage ".
Christine at The IE Mommy The Prayer Journal has stimulating questions and give you an area for daily communication with God as well as scripture to enhance your lesson and your bible study time. I love the opportunity to reflect on what I have read and learned rather then studies where you give a pat answer and go on to the next one. Meditating on God’s direction is a blessing.
Jennifer at For Such a Time as This If you have a group of ladies at your church who are wanting to be better or just even have questions about their role as wives, this would make a wonderful study to start with.
Paula at The Phantom Paragrapher What I love most about The Beautiful Wife is that I am a sucker for ancedotes and Sandy trhoughout the study guide has planted inspiring stories from a number of married women and wives.
Cafe Lily Book Reviews This study also encourages women to learn more of God’s word and apply it to their marriage.
Sara at Embracing Destiny Through inspirational stories from her own experience and from other Christian women, she faces the tough questions that we're sometimes afraid to ask out loud. She believes in the power of prayer and community to draw strength from God and each other.
Amy at The 160 Acrewoods I like how the prayer journal is laid out – it gives me time to reflect and is not the same questions as in the book.
Scott LaVigne's Blog
Debbie at Latte with the Queen Mommy Reading through the first chapter, words just leapt off the page at me. I was highlighting and notating statements and paragraphs that just really spoke wisdom to my heart.
