After an extended stay in Montana, where Amish traditions are different than in her home state, Marianna Sommer returns to Indiana for two reasons, first to help her brother and his girlfriend prepare for a baby and their wedding. Second, to plan her own wedding to Aaron Zook — a marriage she’s been dreaming about ever since childhood. And yet, although she had missed the idyllic farms and families of her upbringing, Marianna is surprised that Indiana is somehow making her long now for Montana.

As months pass, secrets that were hidden in winter’s frozen grasp thaw and take on a life of their own.

The truths about a child, about a past relationship, and about God’s plans are being revealed. Walking through a valley of questions, Marianna must hold on to hope as she decides where and with whom her heart truly belongs. Julie | The Surrendered Scribe

Linda | Mocha With Linda This was a wonderful end to a thoroughly satisfying series!

Patricia | It’s Time to Read Mamaw This book was definitely the icing on the cake, as some say. I couldn’t put it down.

Billy | Ramblings of a Coffee Addicted Writer Beyond Hope’s Valley is a fast-paced, emotional conclusion to the Big Sky series that stared with Beside Still Water and Along Wooded Paths. Author Tricia Goyer has crafted characters that you will care for and a sweet romantic plot that all readers will enjoy. I could easily tell that the author cares deeply for her characters, which shows on each page. I read the book in one sitting.

Becky | By the Book Tricia Goyer has another winner in her final installment of the Big Sky series, Beyond Hope’s Valley.

Valentina | Carabosse’s Library The characters are what’s best about this series of books. They are so well done, carefully executed so that the reader really connects with them.

Maggie | Tethered Mommy Beyond Hope’s Valley is a look at modern Amish society.

Brenda | WV Stitcher Ms. Goyer did a great job wrapping up this series with a satisfying ending.

Sharon | Garden of Book Reviews Tricia Goyer wraps up her Big Sky series with this novel, and she does so with the grace and truly lovely writing that she is so well known for. Tying up all the loose ends of Marianna’s story that was begun in “Beside Still Waters,” Tricia gives her readers the satisfying ending that the story deserves.

Alicia | Surrendering All of Me I like the fact that Tricia did not make the Amish perfect. She opened my eyes to see their many flaws. In this story there were amish that were hypocrites, liars, gossips, fornicators, and even adulterers. We tend to think of them as perfect, but after you read this you’ll see they have the same temptations as any other person.

Mindy | A Room Without Books is Empty  I think that if you enjoy Amish fiction you will enjoy this book.

Lena | A Christian Writer’s World

Lori | Morning Glories and Moonflowers Amish books are not normally a genre of book that I gravitate toward but this story was engaging through the well developed characters, the secrets tucked throughout, and the surprise of Ben, the songwriter/singer- just the right combination of old world and new world.

Kianna’s Korner I nearly feel off my seat when I figured out what the scandal was and exactly who was involved.

Splashes of Joy I really appreciate how Tricia writes the Bible and how to live by its principles throughout her books, and they are certainally not preachy. It’s just every day life. I have enjoyed Marianna throughout the entire series, seeing the changes in her life, the way she can freely have a relationship with Jesus like it is suppose to be.

Karla | Quiet Quilter Well done, Tricia!! You succeeded again in lack of housework being done in my home and late meals!!!! LOL I could not put this book down. LOVED it!!!

Elizabeth | Count It All Joy Ms. Goyer does such a fine job not only with how she handles Marianna’s struggles, but also the struggles of other characters in the book. She also brings to life, for me, the Amish lifestyle and the struggles they must have, which really are not that much different than some of the things we face on a daily basis.

Julie | The Surrendered Scribe If you enjoy Amish fiction with romantic themes and a transformation in faith in Christ, you’ll enjoy Beyond Hope’s Valley.

Laura | Lighthouse Academy BEYOND HOPE’S VALLEY is a sweet ending to this series.

Kaylea | My Scrappy Life If you like Amish fiction, you’ll thoroughly enjoy this series. If you like solid writing, you’ll definitely enjoy it because of Goyer’s writing style.

Vic’s Media Room “Beyond Hope’s Valley” is all about families and relationships and that is what makes this book a winner. I enjoyed this book a lot and am sorry to see this series end.

Patricia | (Live and) Dream a Little Dream This last installment’s was in itself a true pleasure.

Michelle | By Quiet Waters This is an enjoyable story, with a strong sweet believable main character.

Shonda | The Knowiton Nest I am so glad this series had an ending that was pleasing to me. I really enjoyed each of these novels and I learned so much about really trusting God for future plans. This would make a great movie! This was unlike any other Amish novel I have ever read. It not only showed Amish traditions, but how Amish also learn to live with “outsiders” in a friendly way. Three cheers for Tricia!

Athena | The Loose Screw The characters are so realistic, and the author painted the Montana location so well I felt like I was there!

Cindy’s Book Reviews This story will move you, to tears and you will also laugh at the ironies of the story, a community wanting to be separate from the world, but not drawing close to God in personal relationships.

Celena | The Traveling Sisterhood Beyond Hope’s Valley is an honest and thought-provoking look at Amish life which takes place in Indiana.

Roxanna | The Jolly Blogger Either start it early or plan to stay up late because you will not be able to put it down from start to finish.

Brooke | I Blog 4 Books I hated to see it end and am keeping my fingers crossed for future visits to this charming community!

Sarah | Growing For Christ The characters all have their own struggles both within and also with their faith but come out in ways that can’t be easily guessed as you read – just as you think you have it figured out, you realize you don’t!

Donna | Books and SuchThe characters and scenes come alive with Ms. Goyer’s words, creating pictures in reader’s minds.

Kathleen | Reviews from the Heart I rate this one a 5 out of 5 stars and highly recommend this series for those of you that would love to see the Amish and English blend together in some interesting ways.

Jen | Happy Little Homemaker This is a fabulous summer read and the last novel doesn’t disappoint.

Susan | New Every Morning Goyer’s portrayal of the characters is so lifelike that they become friends that you cheer on and even pray for as the story progresses!

Linda | One Desert Rose Tricia’s characters are real, deep and complex, and the emotional roller coaster rides in Beyond Hope’s Valley are real, difficult and exhaustive.

Trish | 5 Minutes for Books This series is a great read for anyone who enjoys Amish fiction, especially with the fascinating juxtaposition of the Indiana and Montana settings.

Michele | My Blessings From Above I love this story, the characters are all so familiar and I feel like I am visiting with old friends!

Kemi | Homemaking Organized Blog If you like Amish fiction you will enjoy Beyond Hope’s Valley.

Nicole | Gidget Goes Home I feel like I learned a lot about the Amish culture and customs and also appreciated the pilgrimage of the heart that Tricia Goyer brings us in the story about Marianna and her family and communities.

Debra | Footprints in the Butter The book was fabulous. Tricia writes characters that feel real, and she paints places so I can almost smell them.

Anne | Mommy Has to Work I love Trica Goyer! She is a wonderful writer that really makes the reader feel like they are inside the story, right there beside the characters.

Victor | Vic’s Media Room “Beyond Hope’s Valley” is all about families and relationships and that is what makes this book a winner.

Nicole | Wyoming Girl *turned* Coastie Wife Through the series, and in this book especially, I appreciated the deep levels of the storyline that portrayed the consequences and sacrifice required when foolish mistakes are made.

Crystal | Cinnamon Hollow The big Sky Series is my absolute favorite Amish series, if not my favorite all around series!

Courtney’s Chitter Chatter Twists and turns keep you on the edge of your seat throughout this book and kept me guessing as to how Tricia was going to end this novel without breaking my heart. I felt there was no way I was going to see a happy ending but somehow she pulled it off. Don’t get me wrong, you’ll cry and your heart will break but in the end you won’t be disappointed!!

Pamela | Daysong Reflections The Big Sky series is not the usual Amish fiction I have become used to and I found it to be a refreshing change.

Sara | Embracing Destiny Tricia has a way with developing her plots and characters that makes it easy to pick up and read!
