The Revealing | Inn at Eagle Hill series

Naomi King, soft spoken, loyal, and easily overlooked, has a gift. She sees what others can’t see. Intuition, she calls it. Others in Stoney Ridge don’t know what to make of it and dismiss her hunches and inklings altogether.

When a young woman arrives at the Inn at Eagle Hill with a shocking secret about Tobe Schrock, Naomi fears the worst. She can’t ignore the feeling that something sinister is at work– something more than a threat to the tenuous love begun between her and Tobe.

As signs mount, they begin to point to Jake Hertzler, the elusive mastermind behind Schrock Investments’ downfall. Soon, events spiral hopelessly out of control and Naomi must decide whether to listen to her head or her heart.

  • GREAT BOOK AND SERIES

As a huge fan of Amish Fiction, Suzanne Fisher Woods is one of my top favorite authors and her Inn at Eagle Hill series is great. I am very sad to know that this is the last book in this series. I have LOVED The Inn at Eagle Hill series, every book better than the last but Suzanne Fisher Woods did a wonderful job wrapping up the series. Suzanne Fisher Woods writes with authority about the Amish, art, and Ohio communities. I loved this series as it brought the readers back to Stoney Ridge to meet new characters but also to get to learn what is happening with the old ones, which I really like.

Oh how I have missed Stoney Ridge! I felt like I was back home as I met up with familiar faces and sweet friends. I like how there was so much going on in this book. The focus was on Naomi King, but truly the book is about the entire King family. I feel like I know so much about each one in the family.

And then there are the courtships some are in or are wanting to be in. We get to see Galen and good old Jimmy again. And then there’s Tobe and Danny.

Though this book was somewhat slow to read in its opening third, the book truly picks up rather quickly, and was a page turner until the end; I would recommend reading the two previous novels in the series first!

    Happy reading!

  • THE REVEALING

This was a great conclusion to a wonderful series, everything was brought to a close so wonderfully in this book. I would really love to read more about the community of Stoney Ridge and it’s charming inhabitants. This was a very well written book that flowed really well and was a very easy and fast read. It kept my attention from the time I started it, till I finished it. There were some twists and turns in this book that kept me on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t wait to find out what happened. I thoroughly enjoyed this boo, great job Suzanne.

I received a complimentary copy of this book for my honest review.

  • THE REVEALING

I absolutely loved being back and visiting all these characters again. Also that the author didn’t rush in and answer all the questions that have been lingering. Instead it all unfolded perfectly and we got the answers we’ve been waiting on. I’m sad that the series has ended but completely enjoyed it and plan to go back and re-read the whole thing again soon.
This was a 5/5. Especially if you’ve read the previous books in the series.

I have so many favorite characters in The Revealing! Jesse Stoltfus is an incredibly refreshing young man with a silver tongue and a never ending smile. Mim Schrock doesn’t know what to do with him! Ahhh… Jimmy Fisher. Who would’ve ever imagined that he’d be flustered or unsure of anything?? Handsome and confident, we see another side of him in this book. In addition, I also have a soft place in my heart for the five elderly Sisters’. They are endearing and their antics and words make me giggle. Highly recommend this book!

It has been fun getting to know all the characters in this continuing story and how they interact with outsiders. This is the third book and last book in the Inn at Eagle Hill series that concludes the ongoing mystery about the undoing of Schrock Investments. I am actually going to miss watching each character grow and learn to forgive. If you like mysteries, romances, and reading about interesting characters who learn to forgive others by giving them a second chance then you should enjoy reading this novel and the others of this series.

  • THE PERFECT ENDING TO A WONDERFUL SERIES!!!

I love the way Suzanne didn’t rush to fill in all the missing pieces of the puzzle that has been surrounding this scandal and in the end, we get the closure and endings we had hoped for. I can only hope this is not the end of my favorite characters from Stoney Ridge and that they will resurface in others series in the future. I would love to know how things work between some of the couples that eventually find happiness in the end in their own novels. I easily give this one a 5 out of 5 stars and includes a delicious recipe for lemon blueberry squares along with a discussion guide for readers at the end.

This book has a lot going on, but the author pulled it together in a awesome ending that will stay with you for a while. The relationships here are so real they feel like family, even though I am not Amish. Even after I finished this series, I kept thinking about the characters and wondering how they were doing. • MY REVIEW FOR “THE REVEALING” | BOOK 3 IN SUZANNE WOODS FISHER’S “THE INN AT EAGLE HILL” SERES | THE ONE WE’VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!

I didn’t review it for Litfuse but the book is so good I just have to share it all over!

The Revealing is one of those books that brings you to your knees, completely and absolutely. About halfway through the book, everything and everyone is in such a mess – you wonder how anything could ever come out right. But in that unerring way that those of us who see God’s will in our lives know, all things come together for the good of His children. Sometimes the best things even come from the worst possible mess you can imagine.

And do not be fooled, there are so many things that come about in a way I never could have seen coming. Suzanne Woods Fisher has penned a beautiful tale of love, forgiveness and hope.

This is the last book in this series, and I am going to miss these characters. I really enjoyed that the author brought modern day science (DNA test) into the plot. There was so much going on in this book, and I am so glad that I read the whole series. Towards the end so many questions are answered, and I am still surprised by one of them. I was really happy with Tobe’s decision and I know that Naomi is as well. Jake was my least favorite character, and his secrets are not nice ones. This is a great book. I am giving this book a 5/5. • REVIEW: THE INN AT EAGLE HILL

Thank you LitFuse for this review copy.

This is the third book in the Inn at Eagle Hill series by Suzanne Woods Fisher. I have really enjoyed it. Like the other books in this series, The Revealing is a mixture of mystery and romance. This book has a greater emphasis on what’s going on with the Amish characters than the first one. There’s a whole lot of revealing and wrapping up that must be done. The ongoing troubles with Jake Hertzler who was involved with the Shrock Investments scandal and the ongoing mystery of Tobe Shrock’s involvement are revealed in this book. I found it to be an interesting and and enjoyable read. I like these people. I like to see the closure that comes from this story, but I’ll miss the characters. Five Stars.

  • I appreciated that there were so many viewpoints in the story; it keeps it interesting and something’s always going on! I also liked that one viewpoint is an Englisher and the rest Amish and a mixture of ages, so there’s a variety of life experiences. I liked the focus on how love can change a person and the importance of forgiveness. This was one of the more enjoyable Amish series I’ve read and I would definitely recommend it, even for people who don’t normally read Amish fiction.

  • THE REVEALING BY SUZANNE WOODS FISHER

Even though there are a lot of different characters, that’s not a bad thing -lots of different layers and mini stories going on, yet all connected. The characters seem authentic and relatable – some books I have read where you think to yourself, “Okay, that wouldn’t happen!” or “Would someone really talk like that in real life?” – Yeah, none of those thoughts crossed my mind.

This is the third, and final, installment of the Inn at Eagle Hill series by Suzanne Woods Fisher. I have read her other books and really enjoy her writing style – it’s easy to read and draws you in. This was another great read!

  • THE REVEALING, BY SUZANNE WOODS FISHER: MY REVIEW AND AN IPAD GIVEAWAY!

I read the second book in The Inn at Eagle Hill series, “The Calling,” so I really enjoyed the opportunity to read more about the characters I’d already met. However, you don’t need to have read the first two books in this series (the first one is “The Letters”) to understand the events in “The Calling.” In this book, a lot of storylines come together, but most of the characters struggle with the same issue: Who should they marry? Many obstacles stand in the way of love, which have to be resolved before clarity can come. But this book isn’t just about romance; there’s plenty of mystery, too, as the Amish community continues to deal with the fallout from the crime that sent Tobe Schrock to jail. Will peace and happiness finally be possible at Eagle Hill?

The Inn at Eagle Hill, Book 3
What I liked most about this final story is the way selfish and selfless stand out so vividly. I liked the growth shown in thought and actions of the characters. What I especially liked about the author’s writings is that they were unveiled as they would be in actual living, rather than them popping up to complete the previous two stories. It would be good to read the series in order, but in this final story, catch up is done so effortlessly, you have the background without it being a listing of happenings in prior books. Some loose ends were left unfinished. I hope to see these friends from Stoney Ridge again!

  • REVIEW: THE REVEALING

Reading a Suzanne Woods Fisher book is pure delight! Rich characterization, multilayered plots, unexpected twists, and humor – all combined with spiritual gems – are just a few ways to describe Suzanne’s writing. In The Revealing, third and final book in The Inn at Eagle Hill series, we come back to the King and Schrock families – and one of my favorite characters, Jimmy Fisher – in a story that ties up most loose ends and relationships. While The Revealing could technically stand alone, I strongly recommend reading the series as a whole for a much more rewarding reading experience.

The Revealing by Suzanne Woods Fisher (Revell) is the satisfying, well written conclusion to The Inn at Eagle Hill series. The book really should not be read as a standalone as it is so much more interesting and meaningful to read the entire series in order. The Revealing is filled with humor, romance, reconciliation, and mystery with a consistent message of forgiveness woven throughout the novel.

Suzanne Woods Fisher has given her readers several fascinating multi layered plots and subplots in The Revealing. The book boasts thorough characterization as well as overflowing spiritual depth. Readers can expect to be chuckling one minute and getting misty eyed over the sweetly written romance the next minute. This book has it all and is highly recommended for all readers. • “THE REVEALING” BY SUZANNE WOODS FISHER

The Revealing is a captivating conclusion to The Inn at Eagle Hill series – not that I was ready for it to end. I think that this one captured my heart more than any of the others – not because Brooke was my favorite character, because she wasn’t, but because Naomi was high on that list. Naomi’s wavering confidence, her love for her brother Galen, her kind and gentle spirit, in addition to the secret that she’s keeping, make her riveting.

  • FANTASTIC CONCLUSION TO THE SERIES!

The Revealing is a fitting conclusion to The Inn at Eagle Hill series. One thing I love about this series (and really all the books set in Stoney Ridge) is that beloved characters keep growing and evolving and, well, showing up on the pages of the novels! So while The Revealing is ostensibly Naomi and Tobe’s story, we readers get to spend similar (if not equal) time with Rose (featured in The Letters), Bethany (featured in The Calling), and Rose’s daughter Mim. Suzanne Woods Fisher really has created a world for her novels, and it’s so fun to see which characters are going to pop back in!

  • REVIEW – THE REVEALING

The Revealing is a fitting conclusion to The Inn At Eagle Hill series, bringing back several characters (it is always great to revisit an old character) and introducing a few new ones. While each book in the series has primarily been stand-alone stories, there were a few unanswered questions that were finally answered in the final installment, especially the ones dealing with the Schrocks. I don’t want to give away any spoilers, but if you have read the previous books, then you’ll know what I’m talking about. Overall, The Revealing is heartwarming Amish fiction novel with plenty of mysteries and a hint of romance. Though the series is over, I do hope the author decides to revisit Stoney Ridge in the near future.

  • AMAZING REVEAL!

I enjoyed this book and I am sad to hear that this is the last book in the series because it was a great series. My biggest problem was I couldn’t remember exactly what I read in the first two books because it had been so long since I finished the first two books in the series. The great thing was that when I started reading, it was easy to get right back into the characters and remember all of the history that I had read before. I am going to have to start reading some more by Suzanne Woods Fisher. Lucky for me that she has a few other series already published so I don’t have to wait for books to be published. I hope that you check out this book and this great series soon! It is a perfect summer read and I hope that you enjoy them as much as I did.

  • THE REVEALING

There were a lot of unexpected twists in THE REVEALING. Some, I figured out. Some, caught my by surprise. I loved THE REVEALING and devoured this book. My copy is going on my keeper shelf. Fans of Ms. Fisher will want to read the books in this series in order, starting with The Calling and then The Letters. I hope there will be a fourth and even fifth book in this series, as I want to know more about Bethany and Mim.

  • THE REVEALING BY SUZANNE WOODS FISHER

Suzanne Woods Fisher’s The Revealing wonderfully concludes The Inn at Eagle Hill series. If you have read the first two novels and have fallen in love with the Schrock family, don’t miss this novel! It’s definitely worth a read.

  • THE REVEALING

Suzanne Woods Fisher never disappoints. Being the final book in this series, it doesn’t work as a stand alone, but don’t let that stop you! Just pick up the whole series and read the other ones first! This book does a great job at wrapping up the loose ends that have dangled. The characters are so well developed that you honestly feel as if they’re people that you know or that you wished were your own neighbors. If I had a complaint, it would be that the series is over. I want to know what happens with Mim and with Bethany. With any luck, there will be a whole new series as they find themselves and they find love.

  • A GOOD ENDING TO A NICE SERIES

This is the last book in the Inn at Eagle Hill series and I am going to miss reading this series. Amy did a very good job though in tying up the story and bringing it all to a close. You must read all the books in the series or you will feel like you are missing something. I would love to find the Eagle Inn and visit as it seems like a nice place with many friendly people. Another thing that I liked about this book it that it has a little mystery and suspense in it so you don’t won’t to put this book down. Then you have your touch romance which just adds to the story line. If you are looking for a good series then pick up this one as you will not be disappointed.

Suzanne Woods Fisher writes an interesting story that moves along at a remarkably brisk pace. Ms. Fisher has a lot of characters to work with and she provides an excellent story for them to grow in.

  • LOVED IT ! ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END SIGH….

Being a lover of Amish Fiction I enjoy the setting of Suzannes stories. I love the idea of an Inn and the comings and goings of the folks who visit there, each one dealing with their own trials in life and learning to deal with them by staying with the Amish.
