{More about Undeniably Yours}

When Meg Cole’s father dies unexpectedly, she’s forced to return home to Texas and to Whispering Creek Ranch to take up the reins of his empire. The last thing she has the patience or the sanity to deal with? Her father’s Thoroughbred racehorse farm. She gives its manager, Bo Porter, six months to close the place down.

Bo knows he ought to resent the woman who’s determined to take from him the only job he ever wanted. But instead of anger, Meg evokes within him a profound desire to protect. The more time he spends with her, the more he longs to overcome every obstacle that separates them and earn her love.

Just when Meg realizes she can no longer deny the depth of her feelings for Bo, their fragile bond is broken by a force from Meg’s past. Can their relationship–and their belief that God can work through every circumstance–survive?

What I thought was going to be a boring and typical romance proved to be such a tender read. I loved Meg and Bo’s relationship, so sweet simple and realistic. The author included endearing secondary characters that I hope she further develops in later installments. With the touch of a mystery, a villain, and danger , the author was able to turn a boring romance novel to something totally exciting and different.

I made it through Undeniably Yours in one day. Loved the Texas setting as this is home to me. And they nailed the small town feel while knowing that the big city is just a few hours away. I also like the ‘name dropping’ for local shops that gave it the home town feel. But the very rich, very beautiful meets the rugged honorable lower income story line is really old to me. No matter that it is professed that money does not matter in real life it always does. So this was most certainly fiction. Otherwise the story line was darling with a lil bit of daring adventure thrown in.

The book is very well written. It does have a great premise. And others seem to love it – so you might as well. Discussion questions are included at the end of the book. If you like contemporary romances, do give UNDENIABLY YOURS a try.

I was surprised to find how much I enjoyed this book. Okay, so there were ups and downs that ended in a happy ending (just like all other Christian romance novels) but this story and the characters were cute, charming, and blessedly normal. They seemed like people I would be friends with, not people I would roll my eyes at. The story is actually a classic – boss falls in love with employee (although in this case the boss is a lady and the employee is a male), but the story just fits together to make you want to keep reading. I would love to read the next books to continue to follow these characters. Wade seems like a fun author. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys Christian fiction and loves a happy ending.

The first few pages were very descriptive, in addition to the book moving slow in the beginning. Then, Boom, Meg starts reflecting back on her life, then the action starts. The book moves from focusing solely on Meg to Bo. Bethany House offers a great selection of books and I knew this one would be great as well.

While I liked the two main characters of this rather religious Christian romance I found the whole story unbelievable. However, Becky Wade does a good job of presenting the theme of responding to the vocation God has given you–whether or not that vocation is what other people would have you do.

The cover of this book told me right away that I’d be in for a romance that was quite possibly filled with humor. I was so excited to read this book. I could hardly wait to flip it open when I got it. There was just something about the cover that made me REALLY want to read this book.

I’m glad that all of my excitement over this book didn’t vanish when I completed this book. I liked conflicting emotions between Meg and Bo. I appreciated Bo and his determination to straighten out the farm. I was a little surprised by what the “threaten force” was in their relationship….that thing that could possibly break apart a chance of a relationship.

Like author Becky Wade, I love a good romance. I find myself getting so swept up in the nuances of the love dance between two people that time just melts away.

Undeniably Yours does not fall short in this department! In fact, if anything I found myself a little bit tired of each ones pining for the other in their quite moments. While I had to keep reading to find out how it all played out, I was disappointed by how cliche’ the stereotypes were in this book…from the very rigid and obvious distinction between “the Texas cowboy” that always has a gun in his truck, to the put on a pedestal, untouchable rich girl who even has her appearance together while working out, to the mysterious man that conveniently appears in their time of need, it was all a little much.

I did however find Bo and his family endearing and the fact that this is Book #1 in the Porter Family Series has me intrigued as to how his other family members will play out in upcoming books.

Let me start my review by saying, I loved this book!! I read it in two days…just couldn’t put it down. The story line was great and Meg’s past makes the story quite interesting. I think Becky has done a wonderful job creating a moving story that shows how God can heal broken hearts and make things new again.

A sweet romance. Once you pick this one up you wish you were in Meg Cole’s shoes, or not. She can buy anything she wants, but love! Guess that other side of the fence does always look greener.
Bo Porter’s first meeting with her, is a life changer in more ways than one. She wants to close down her deceased father’s race horse ranch and stables. Bo begs and wins six months to make the ranch pay for itself…she says yes, but no guarantees.
I loved the compassion both of the main characters seemed to possess for others, especially the less fortunate. Also enjoyed the fact that the both have a great love for The Lord! Who does turn up in interesting places!
Can you imagine walking in the world of the upper elite?

I didn’t think that Becky Wade could top “My Stubborn Heart” but she proved me wrong! Her gift of creating characters with vulnerabilities and depth is once again showcased beautifully. It was utterly endearing how Meg felt safe with Bo and I adored reading how she took his breath away, from the very beginning. Swoon! I found myself caring for both Meg and Bo and eagerly read the book to see what would happen! In a way, they both need to be “rescued”and that’s what makes a truly magical love story, in my book.:) I can’t wait to read the next release in the Porter family series!

I really liked the cover on this book and the snippet on the back really draws you into wanting to read the book.
Part of the reason for that for me is my love of horses and a big part of this book is the theme of a horse farm.
I liked how the Thoroughbred farm was used as a healing tool for Meg’s anxiety. It was all tied in to the story so well that it meshed amazingly. Watching the tentative relationship form and then have such a shattering blow hit her just when she was beginning to trust really draws you into the story and kind of sets you on edge wondering how this is all going to play out.

This one is enchanting and the romantic tension Becky creates has you on the edge of your seat wondering just when these two will admit their true feelings for one another. Bo is that perfect knight in shining armor wrapped up in simple blue jeans, stetson hat and t-shirt that can not only whisper to horses but to Meg’s heart as well. This novel has found a forever home in my library as well as my heart. Who hasn’t dreamed of falling in love with a handsome cowboy? I rate this love story a 5 out of 5 stars and will read this one again and again.

I really liked Undeniably Yours ~ Meg comes home to run her fathers business. She is now a major shareholder in an oil business. Her father had the idea that owning race horses was a good idea. He had spent a lot of money on them and Meg just wanted to get rid of them. Then she meets Bo who along with her father had a dream that the horse would make a lot of money. Something happens between Bo and Meg – you will need to read Undeniably Yours to find out what. I am sure you will enjoy it as much as I did.

The beginning of Undeniably Yours swept me away – the warm embrace of a sweet romance with a partly grand, partly down-home setting and great characters to populate it. I loved all of the dichotomies and how they added conflict to the story, as well as urging character growth. The book has a great premise that can hook a romance fan, and the overall plot doesn’t disappoint.

Surprised me how quickly I fell for these characters! I love that the author chose to give main character Meg the issue of anxiety/panic attacks. I think readers who struggle with this will totally relate. Often Christian who suffer from this feel ashamed and I was pleased with how the author presented it. Love Bo, the babysitting scene was hilarious (the author obviously has children, because she totally nailed this scene..lol) UNDENIABLY YOURS IS UNDENIABLY WONDERFUL!!!

I personally loved reading about the life of the rich. As someone who has moved cross-country several times, I loved the thought of having someone come in and pack everything up, deliver it all to the new place, and then have an interior designer come in and arrange everything. That appealed to me. Having a housekeeper and having someone make all my meals for me sounded real good, too. Who wouldn’t right?

There is also a component of excitement in this book that adds a new dimension to the story. Just when everything seems perfect, someone from Meg’s past comes. The danger is palpable and this lovely romantic novel becomes a page-turner.

So, this is a wonderful romance novel but Wade weaves in other details that push it beyond “just a romance.” I do recommend this book.

“Undeniably Yours” by Becky Wade is undeniably a Texas-style romance, complete with an oil heiress, cowboy hero, and a modern-day outlaw. Wade kicks off the Porter Family series with a novel about love, trust, and opening oneself to God’s will. The characters are relevant and believable with distinct personalities. Meg and Bo carry the plot, but are joined by an array of secondary and background characters. Most of the story is told from the third-person perspectives of Meg and Bo, but there are occasions when scenes are viewed from the perspective of the “outlaw,” Stephen. I was a little surprised when the plot switched to Stephen’s point-of-view several chapters into the novel, but it showed his malice and greed, which ultimately helped me relate to Meg more.

I loved the characters in Undeniably Yours. Bo was the perfect hero – handsome and sensitive yet strong. I liked the way that Meg who seemed to have everything continually demonstrated her lack of concern over her wealth but often found ways to use it to help others. I also liked how Meg kept seeking God’s will for her life rather than accepting what was expected of her.

I had not read Becky Wade’s first book My Stubborn Heart so I dived into Undeniably Yours with doubt. I was very wrong! Though contemporary fiction is not my favorite this surpassed many of the books I have read this year and is definitely at the top. I loved reading about the characters, Meg and Bo, and the author did a great job creating this setting in Texas. I laughed out loud a couple of times because some scenes are written so well I could visualize them in all their hilarity. While the overall story line does not push Christianity there is an definite relationship that the characters have with the Lord. Loved this book!

I cannot imagine someone not loving a horse ranch but Meg seems not to and wants to close the place. Bo is the manager and his dream is the horse ranch so we have a problem. How these two are going to get together and have a romance is something you have to read to believe. “Undeniably Yours” is a romance that focuses on social standings and how, in reality, we are all just men and women not rich and poor. Ms. Wade has given us wonderful characters that live and breathe on the pages. ”Undeniably Yours” is a marvelous story filled with great romance and some suspense. This book does not disappoint at all. I enjoyed it and I am already looking forward to the next book in this series.

All God asks is that we seek Him and He will do the rest, to be quiet and listen for His voice and then obey His directions. In the novel, there were choices the characters had to make and such is the truth in real life; we have choices to make every day of our lives.
The novel is a quick and enjoyable story that can be read from cover to cover in a short time span. Faith in the Lord, praying and obeying are three strands woven throughout the tale. We might think we are in control, but as the Scripture at the end of the book states, it is God who makes all things work together for good and His glory.

This is such an enjoyable story. The characters are adorable and so realistic, I love the way Meg enjoyed helping those in need. And I found it so special and sweet that, though Meg has problems with stress, when she is around Bo, her stress disappears. Even just being around him, hearing his voice relieves her stress. But though Bo was very attracted to Meg, he knew he was not worthy of her, that she deserved someone a lot better than someone like him.

I really liked this book! Becky did a great job of making me like Meg and Bo and cheer for their “from different worlds” relationship. This was a great easy read. I thought it heavy on the romance side of the story – as opposed to the action side – but that’s my preference anyway. There as so many other strong characters I came to love in this novel that add to the adventure within the pages of the book, but not the romance: the characters of Meg and Bo took care of that story line all on their own.

You can’t go wrong with cowboys, Texas and romance; it’s like a recipe for a good story. When you add a sociopathic ex-husband into the mix, it makes the story even more interesting. I really enjoyed this new book by Becky Wade; she took what could have been another run-of-the-mill Christian romance novel and made it so much more than that. The element of suspense she added kept it interesting and kept me turning the pages. It’s not very often you come across such a well written male lead. Bo Porter is the strong heroic cowboy with a solid faith in God and family. His family is terrific. I enjoyed the subplots with Amber and Meg’s desire to do something to help others, rather than just run her father’s company. As she finally discovers what her heart truly wants to do, she discovers her true joy. I did find Stephen frustrating and that Meg could so quickly distrust Bo, but I loved his faith that things would work out and his strength in protecting her.

This is a real, heartwarming story and one that I thoroughly enjoyed. As it’s the first in a series, I am anxious for more and I hope that Amber’s story is next and that Jake figures strongly in it!

In Undeniably Yours, even the minor characters are vivid and like-able. I would like to have seen a little more about Stephen, but I think the lack of information emphasized his lack of emotion. The story moves along nicely. The romance is sweet, and there is a bit of suspense. The Christian element is strong. I took away a lot of great applications, like what I have isn’t really mine–I am a steward of His money, His house, etc. The plot also demonstrates God’s faithfulness and how He uses each of us to encourage and help others. I really enjoyed reading this book!

Becky Wade’s sophomore novel is sophisticated and sweet!

I fell instantly for Meg Cole as our leading lady! She finds herself placed into a mold, and to put it simply, she doesn’t meld like she’s expected to. My heart ached for all Meg was put through in her childhood and early adult life. Her bright faith through it all remains a highlight to me even after I finished the final pages.

Undeniable Yours was a reverse Cinderella story and one that I enjoyed very much. Meg is beautiful and rich, with family protecting her from gold diggers. Bo is a ranch manager, and has a heart as big a Texas. I found myself liking them both a lot. I wanted the best for Meg, for her to overcome her fears, and for her to discover God’s will for her life. Bo was the best hero that I’ve met in a book for awhile; a hero who puts his trust in God, even when circumstances seem to be against him.

A very nice well thought out story told in depth so you understand where all the characters are leaning to and who will end up causing the most damage. A very good book to read one day when you feel blue or down, this one should pick up your spirit and believe that anything is possible if you leave the door open for them to come in.

Another sweet romance that is perfect for a summer/beach read. Meg and Bo will capture your hearts. I especially loved Bo – he was self-assured, strong, and kind. This strength really helped Meg as she struggled with panic attacks and anxiety after her divorce and the death of her father. This relationship reminded me of the strength that the Lord gives us and His calm in the storm.

It’s also great seeing Meg’s faith grow stronger and stronger and her inner dialogue as she searches for strength from the Lord. It was wonderful seeing her grow from a anxious young woman to a woman fully relying on the Lord. I also liked how we see her trust in Bo develop, too.

I really like how the author makes the character’s romance real. It’s not a story full of “they live happy ever after”. Her hero and heroine go through hard times and they get through these hard times together. I like that the story line is real and honest and has spiritual undertones. The twist at the end will surprise you. I highly recommend reading Undeniably Yours if you are looking for a superb, enjoyable, not your every day run of the mill romance.

Great, light read, fun if you’re in the mood for a romance. Meg is a character who will grow on you as she ‘grows up’.

    Very enjoyable.

  • I love Becky Wade’s style of writing! I first read her work last year with My Stubborn Heart. Becky writes such clean and clear pictures that you really believe you are in the book with the characters. With her latest book, Undeniably Yours, she doesn’t disappoint!

Undeniably Yours is a sweet, easy read with a little suspense too! I can’t wait to read her next novel.

“Undeniably Yours” is a sweet, gentle romance set in Texas that will delight fans of inspirational and contemporary romance. Author Becky Wade captures the essence of the “oil baron and horse country” area outside of Dallas perfectly and her characters are warm and realistic portrayals of true Texans.

I enjoyed reading this novel and highly recommend it.

  • I had never gotten around to reading Becky Wades debut novel “My Stubborn Heart.” That is somewhat sad because I didn’t know what I was missing. I had no idea what to expect really with “Undeniably Yours” and I honestly couldn’t predict how it would go at all.

When all is said and done, Undeniably Yours is a good romance. I’m not sure if I’d read it again but I will still be reading more from Becky Wade in the future and My Stubborn Heart is staying on my keeper shelf.

I LOVE Becky Wade’s story telling skills! I LOVE her writing! I’ve read both of her books, and love them both, but this one, Undeniably Yours is the BEST! Her writing pulls you in right away, and you do not want to stop reading! The characters she creates are what does that you as you are reading! You don’t want to stop reading to do other things because those characters are so full of life! This is a book you do NOT want to miss! Do anything you can to read Undeniably Yours! You won’t be sorry!

I found myself drawn into this very well written romance, and could easily understand Meg Cole. She had been thrown into a multi-million dollar business and was struggling with not only that responsibility but also was dealing with a relationship issue that kept her frazzled. I thought it was neat that she used Sudoku puzzles and antacids as her crutches! Bo was a great character, he had a protectors spirit and felt drawn to protect Meg. I loved watching their story unfold and couldn’t help but hope for a happily ever after. I found the depth of feeling along with the inspirational slant and the characters faith made this a standout story for me. Ms. Wade created realistic characters that depict what most of us are looking for in life, love and acceptance blended together with the message of putting faith in God made this a page turning contemporary read.

I love the premise of this story. You can’t go wrong with ranches and cowboys and love. It took me a while to really get into Undeniably Yours, though, and it took me equally long to figure out why. With a great plot, a well-written male lead, a thought-provoking faith lesson, I finally figured out why: Meg comes across as rather weak in the beginning of the story. There’s a reason for this, and it’s a good one, as part of the conflict is her pain after being romantically hurt in the past. In order to love Bo, she must trust God, forgive her ex, and try again, and that’s never easy, but her coming-to-terms made parts of the story move slowly for me.

If you don’t have that same strange pet peeve, you’ll love this story.

Undeniably Yours had a small area of dramatic plot concerning our main character Meg, who suffers from anxiety and doubt, but overall the fluffy, cute romantic story-line fits in perfect with the season of Spring and will lift the mood for anyone looking for a light hearted novel.

This story will grab your heart and hold onto you from start to finish. I was glad that the author Becky Wade did not wait until the last page for the romance to be revealed. It is frustrating when a book leaves you wondering what happened next. The Author completes the story for Meg and Bo and leaves the reader with a warm and satisfied heart.

I thoroughly enjoyed the symmetry between the characters in Undeniably Yours. Through faith all things are possible.

I like Meg’s kind heart and seeking the Lord for what she is to do next, aware He certainly knows His plans for her. I am glad there is continuance in her life; Meg’s former nanny, Sadie Jo, the housekeeper, Lynn, and landscaper, Mr. Son. I am looking forward to reading the next novel in the series. With Meg’s care and Bo’s integrity, this story cannot go wrong.

I enjoyed how the author took a blossoming romance and made it so much more than two people falling for each other. There were clear spiritual themes about trusting God, finding God’s will, and reaching out to others.

Becky Wade’s true-to-life way of bringing her characters to the page is definitely refreshing. One of my favorite things about her writing is that she doesn’t sugar-coat the real, human emotions and desires of her characters.

This story reminds me of that in a whisper. It is the journey of discovering who you are, who you can be, who you are meant to be, who you are meant to be with, and Who’s your are. Who doesn’t need that reminder? This story provides that wrapped in a package of romance, with ribbons of mystery, and a bow of self-discovery.

This book was cute, sweet and romantic, just the way I like it! It a nice easy reading story with very likable characters.
This was my first book from Becky. Now I kind of want to go back and read her other one – “My Stubborn Heart”. I’ve heard a lot about that one as well.
There is some nice Christian content, good christian values but didn’t feel preachy to me at all. Just good clean fun.

In most romance books, the female is the poor needy woman, and the man comes in to save the day! Undeniably Yours flips that on us and makes it the other way around. I also enjoyed the fact that Becky Wade wasn’t afraid to use words like “hot” to describe what Meg thought of Bo when she saw his tattoo. I know that is a no-no in Christian Fiction, but at least the dialog and mental thoughts of Meg and Bo were closer to reality today than reality in the 1800′s. That’s a big step! I get rather tired of reading books that are set in today’s world but sound as if they were written by Jane Austen instead. Becky Wade has a fresh voice that I love to read! I can’t wait for more from her!

This is a great book about how to deal when loved ones die and how we pick up the pices after were left to deal with everything they left behind. From her fathers racehorse farm to the man that worked for him. This is definitely must read for fans of Wade’s other books as well as those who love a good romance.

This book start out as a sweet romance and finishes with a thrill ride. I was on the edge of my seat and also tearing up at the same time. I really could relate to Meg’s panic attacks and really leaned that we must put our faith in God to get us through any situation. I became so invested with the characters that I wished I could have spent more time with them. Another wonderful book by Becky Wade. I have read one other book by this author and loved it, but now I am even more in love with Undeniably Yours!

If you want a book with romance, sweetness, a terrific lesson, and a thrilling finish then look no further. I can’t wait to see what’s next from this wonderful author.
