Amy Lathrop

amy (at) litfusegroup.com

A book lover from way back, Amy is forever tripping over one stack of books or another. She graduated from The Evergreen State College with a degree in creative writing (poetry) and editing. Upon graduation she raised a family, started a children’s clothing boutique and a successful catering business. But, Amy returned to her first love – books and editing – on a fateful snowy day in March, when a friend (and published author) asked if she would be interested in a little part time job as a writer’s assistant. Fast forward a few years and Litfuse was born. Amy lives to fuse, to take authors, their platform, their work – and Spread the Word. Fusing the author with their audience by coming alongside and handling PR, booking speaking engagements, securing media interviews, networking on the author'sbehalf, etc... “I love to get behind an author and free them up to do what they do best – WRITE!

Amy lives with her raconteur husband, Bryce (of White Moustache fame) and their two children, Dakota and Madison, in the suburbs of Seattle. As a family, the Lathrop’s host a breakfast Weekly Waffles with their neighbors and friends, host house concerts featuring local talent, and actively participate with SOMA Communities. When not working, Amy spends as much time with family and friends as possible – camping, going to movies, eating, playing pinochle, and laughing.

Amy is honored to be of use. She lives grateful that God has prepared her every step of the way to do EXACTLY what she loves to do. Amy would love to learn more about you too. Connect with her on TwitterFacebook or her blog sprightly–amy anne!

Christy Anderson

christy (at) litfusegroup.com

I’m excited to work alongside authors—sharing my skills to fulfill their vision in a challenging industry. I bring a global marketing advantage to Litfuse clients’ “babies” with my experience in marketing, public relations, and graphic design.

I’ve worked in many industries—from architecture to healthcare to government. But the publishing industry is where it all began for me when I was a graphic designer out of college. Now I get to bring my passion for public relations to the industry by promoting Christian authors.

I’ve worked for a city mayor, a national architecture/engineering firm, a leading natural health research university, a small design firm, a congressional campaign, and a national publishing company. My work earned the Award of Excellence from the National Association for Government Communicators, the American Crown Community Award from American City & County magazine, and the Award of Excellence from the 3CMA Savvy Awards; and I was especially pleased to receive the Mayor’s Choice Award for community service.

I seek meaningfulness in my work, in my relationships, and in my conversations. And when I’m not working, guess what I’m looking for?

Which brings me to my unpaid work. I can never decide, so I volunteer—often concurrently—with foster child advocacy organizations, my local animal shelter, the Calvin College Alumni Association, ESL conversation groups for immigrants and refugees, and anything else I serendipitously hear a need for.

My favorite activity is saving money. And dancing.
