Litfuse is quickly growing marketing and publicity firm specializing in Christian fiction and non-fiction books. We offer traditional and new media publicity and marketing services with a holistic approach to book promotion. 

Currently Litfuse is looking to fill two positions:

1. Freelance Publicist

2. Freelance Chick-of-all-trades (COAT)

PUBLICIST:

YOUR TASKS: Publicist will project manage client publicity campaigns. The Publicist will create and implement a unique publicity plan for each client. In addition, the Publicist will be responsible for creating publicity materials, developing special pitches, contacting media outlets, scheduling, keeping media lists current, managing review copy mailings, reporting, managing national and local author book tours, etc. The Publicist will be a self-starter and work well both independently and with a team on contracted titles.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The ideal person for this position will have working knowledge of the CBA/ABA publishing industry (highly preferred), have a minimum of two years publicity experience and possess strong media relationships. The applicant will need to possess excellent writing and verbal skills as well as be organized and detail oriented. Applicants will need to be able to successfully manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Additionally, we value creativity, innovation and resourcefulness and are looking for someone who is high-energy and passionate.

CHICK-OF-ALL-TRADES (COAT):

YOUR TASKS: The COAT will create campaign graphics, write marketing/publicity content and perform basic coding (blog/website) for our company and client campaigns. In addition, the COAT will also help manage company and client social media.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The ideal person for this position will have working knowledge of the CBA/ABA publishing industry (highly preferred), be proficient in social media practices, have a minimum of two years graphic design, and a marketing and/or publicity background. The applicant will need to possess excellent writing and verbal skills as well as be organized and detail oriented. Applicants will need to be able to successfully manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
